ROB GOLDMARK joined Pocket Change in early 2008, but he is by no means new to the NY music scene. Son of the late music publisher Aaron "Goldie" Goldmark, Rob grew up in and around the business and early-on set his sights on the drums, starting (of course) with drumming on anything at home that didn't move. 100% self taught, Rob spent his teen years practicing as many hours as his family (and neighbors) would allow, following in the footsteps of drum idols, John Bohham, Lenny White, and Steve Gadd (some pretty big shoes.)

Rob quickly became a favorite among local bands and by 19, appeared at the legendary CBGB's in New York. Later adding soul, jazz, fusion, and funk to his arsenal, Rob emerged with a distinct "drive" that must be heard - and felt.

In the 80's Rob played on Change's "The Glow Of Love" album tour. Now a Dad himself, Rob returned to music in 1998 as a staff drummer for The Studio, playing all styles at their weekly Jam Nights.
